You should activate at least one detector so that you can start the service by clicking the "Start/Stop Service" button on the bottom of the app screen.This app is able to run in the background, It means when you close the app screen/window, then do other tasks using other apps, this app still listens to headset plugged, headset unplugged or shake events (while device is sleeping) as long the service is started (running).
